ELEVATE WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT & LABORER
GROUP INSTRUCTOR
Vertical World has a longstanding legacy of producing the highest quality youth programs in the region and has the reputation of being an industry leader in the category Nationwide. Group Instructors teach single visit group bookings such as Birthday Parties and Rock Climbing Experiences as well as ongoing groups with the need to lesson plan and create curriculum content as well. Other instruction will include School Groups, Not For Profit Groups, and Kids Night Out, and custom groups, all with a wide age range (children and adults) and ability of climbers. It is the duty of the Group Instructor to deliver the highest level of climbing instruction and professionalism to all youth climbers. Group Instructors uphold the exceptional legacy of the Vertical World youth climbing community.
Location: Vertical World Seattle
Hours: 5 – 28 hrs per week (Part Time). Weekends required.
- Saturdays from 11a – 7p
- Sundays from 10a – 5p
Reports to: Groups Coordinator
Compensation: $20.80 – $22 hourly
This position has the potential to combine with other duties at VW to create a full-time position

Responsibilities:
- Work in single visit groups such as Birthday Parties and Rock Climbing Experiences
- Teach School Groups and Not For Profit Groups which can be single visit and ongoing
- Instruct kids and create lesson plans for those signed up for Kids Night Out
- Assist participants and their families with their needs
- Maintain consistent and thorough notes for ongoing groups and Kids Night Out
- Cleaning, organizing and other tasks to service the gym when needed

Requirements:
- Attend all required staff meetings and 1:1’s with supervisors
- VW Top Rope belay certified or ability to pass test
- Current First Aid certification and SafeSport certification (can be completed within first 3 months of employment)

YOUTH PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR
Vertical World is now hiring Youth Program (YP) Instructors. Instructors teach rock climbing classes and camps to students that range from 3 to 17 years old. Throughout the year there are multiple offerings a YP instructor may be involved in like: Regular yearlong programs, day camps, school break camps, summer camps, and summer programs to name a few. YP staff are responsible stewards that help groom VW’s next generation of climbers. The available positions are for summer programs and longer term employment is based on availability and scheduling of fall programs.
Location: Vertical World Seattle
Hours: 5 – 28 hrs per week (Part Time). Weekends required.
- Weekdays from 1p – 7p
- Sunday from 11a – 1p
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Compensation: $20.80 – $22 hourly
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for students
- Create an appropriate balance of risk management, technical skill, and fun in each class
- Work in cooperation with co-instructors
- Track student progress and ensure students are going through all necessary processes to use gym equipment
- Manage diverse abilities and interest levels within each class
- Other duties or tasks delegated by Manager or Programs Coordinator
Requirements:
- Friendly and enthusiastic
- Self-motivated and able to act independently
- Previous top rope belay experience
- Able to commit to consistent schedule
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities
- Ability to deal with difficult circumstances with a positive attitude
- Great working ability in a family environment
- First aid and CPR certified
Preferred Skills:
- Experience teaching climbing
- Previous outdoor climbing experience
- Lead climbing experience

ELEVATE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Elevate Climbing Walls is a small but growing construction company building a variety of climbing wall projects, from residential home walls to large commercial gyms. We’re looking for a highly motivated, hands-on individual to join our team who can manage multiple aspects of a project from start to finish, while also building and maintaining client relationships. Job Description:
This is an in-person position, located in Kent, WA. As an Account Manager, you’ll be one of the go-to people for managing client accounts, working with the Senior Project Manager, ensuring project stay on schedule and budget. You’ll play a role in maintaining client relationships and securing new business. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a strong balance of organizational skills, communication abilities, and a proactive attitude. As we expand and evolve, there may be times when you’ll be asked to take on tasks that are outside of your usual responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the internal team on assigned projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, required insurance documents, budgets, and change orders.
- Collaborate with in-house sales team to identify potential leads and develop strategies to convert them into customers.
- Assist in proposal preparations, estimates, and bids for potential clients.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
Requirements:
- Experience in production or project management, in construction or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first attitude.
- Some sales experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales role.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Contractor Foreman, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A background in construction estimating or cost management is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction-related regulations and insurance compliance.
- Climbing or other outdoor industry experience.

Some duties may include climbing wall panel production, basic carpentry, light metal work, cleaning, and tool & shop maintenance. There is potential to grow within the company, and we encourage on the job learning and advancement. This is a full time position at 35 – 40 per week. After a 60-day probation period, we offer medical and dental benefits. We enjoy working as a team, and love creating something unique.
Expectations:
• Keep the shop and tools clean
• Assist Lead Carpenters
• Assist welders
• Organize and put away tools
• Work in a physical environment all day
• Lift and carry 50-70 lbs.
• Have previous experience with basic construction
• Have knowledge of basic tools
• Work in all types of weather
$20 – $22/hr

YOGA INSTRUCTOR SUBSTITUTE

They cater to a wide range of climbers and yogis at every skill level, enhancing physical fitness and promoting mental well-being. Hours: Part time per class, flexibility required
Compensation: $40 per class with students, $20.80 per class without students

- Be punctual; early is on time. Please arrive 5-10 mins early to clock in and set up your space
- Take accurate notes of each class
- Plan classes for a balance of safety, technical skill, and a wide range of abilities
- Demonstrate the poses/techniques/modifications, etc.
- Keeping to the “style” of the class expected by the students
- Curate music for each class that fits the pace and vibe of the class (keeping words to a minimum)
- Help to keep the yoga space neat and orderly e.g., wipe down props/return to their designated space
- Dry mop before each class

- Offer verbal alignment and modification cues during a class. VW does not offer physical (hands-on) adjustments and/or modifications at our gym
Requirements:
- Have completed a 200-hr YTT
- Physically capable of practicing what you teach
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Complete onboarding
- Able to dependably commute to work
